All of our children have done the baseball thing and it’s been an awesome part of our family, as most team sports have been. I’ve seen our guys develop discipline and learn the value of working and playing with others. At a tournament I saw one of the funniest but truest personalized license plates I’ve ever seen. It was on a Suburban (I call Suburbans Utah’s “state vehicle”) and it simply read TOAGAME!
Sometimes the games can be pretty long and boring, and other times they’re really intense and exciting. At no time have I ever regretted going to them. It’s totally worth it having our kids, long after the season is over, come up to their mom and I to give us a hug and tell us how much it meant to them that we were there at all of their games.
