Rosebuds

Roses and rosebuds have been one of my all-time favorite blooms, not only because of their romantic association, but also their sweet, heady aroma. A few years ago, I was amazed to find that not all roses are created perfect. Don’t you feel cheated when you walk by a gorgeous rose bush and you ‘stop to smell the roses’ and it’s not there? It’s like biting down on a chocolate truffle and there’s no chocolate! The most beautiful rose collection I have ever seen was at the Hershey Gardens. Wow and double wow! If you’ve never been and you love roses, then go!
