Journey

I love sculpting birds! It’s exciting to work with the design, rhythm and flow of a creature that exemplifies all those aspects. There is nothing more awe-inspiring than being close-by as geese fly over and you; hearing those big, powerful wings provide the lift that catapults them on their journey. To sculpt them life-size and integrate the reeds and grasses into the composition was a pure delight. I hope you feel of their majesty.
